Students at Lafayette Academy chose to research the impacts of school closure on a school community. In New Orleans, where all but one school is a charter school, school closures impact the community and can be a source of traumatic stress for the community.

Students at School #2 focused in on student motivation in schools. Trauma-informed practices should help to create environments where students feel motivated to learn and take an active role in their learning.
